It is very well situated in the beygelou area and the staff are very warm and friendly. I have answered the above ro a Blackberry and have assumed that I have ticked Excellent for all the above.
Our room, although a beautiful and large room, faced on to the Galata Square which was very noisy with music and performers until very late at night. Other smaller rooms were quieter.

Helpful staff. Clean, quiet rooms with comfortable beds. Excellent location, near Galata Tower, Istiklal, and Karakoy Ferryboat station. Spectacular Bosphorus views from rear-facing rooms. Rooftop restaurant/bar offers stunning views of Sultanahmet and Galata Tower.

I like the intimacy and home-feel of the hotel. The service is good and so the price. The views of both the Bospherous and Golden Horn at the roof restaurant is definately a plus for me.
The shower is difficult to adjust.

The view from the restaurant are to die for - the absolute best in Istanbul. On the same quire as Galata tower and none of the crowd. (You can actually see the tower through the roof window in the restaurant). If you want dinner there - make sure you have a booking in advance.

The location
We stayed on the first floor and the room was very, very loud. We had a hard time sleeping.

You can reach out and practically touch the historic Galata Tower from your room or you can have a room the most outstanding beautiful view of the Bosphorus. What a choice! The scenic dining room/bar also has incomparable 360 degree views and is open-air in the summer months. The location in trendy Beyoglu is the best, restaurants are everywhere and central Istiklal Cad. Is a few minutes away. The staff is like family and cannot do enough for you. The price is beyond reasonable. I have been coming for many years and hope to continue to do so for many more years to come. There is nothing like Istanbul or the Anemon Galata!!!!
